One of the best tree lighting events is on Palmer Square. Check out Princeton's Christmas Tree Lighting. This event takes place each year the day after Thanksgiving. This tree has more lights than the Rockefeller Center tree in NYC.

Kick off the Holiday season in Princeton with the Tree Lighting Spectacular The day after Thanksgiving each year the Palmer Square Green. 
This 65 foot Norwegian Spruce is adorned with over 32,000 lights and is lit with the help of Santa Claus. He will be first spotted way above Palmer Square on a roof top before magically being transported to the stage in front of the red doors at the Nassau Inn


Grab a cup of hot chocolate or cider from one of the establishments on Palmer Square, Witherspoon Street or Nassau Street and enjoy this event. Tree lighting, Appearance by Santa Claus, Live holiday music concert and good cheer. Kick off your holiday season by attending this awesome event. Go early as it gets crowded.
